YIELD: 10 SERVINGS
As a child, one of my favorite candy combinations was simply chocolate with almonds. These bite-size morsels are a tribute to these two “made for each other” flavors.
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 °F and spread the almonds onto a baking tray.
Bake for 7 minutes, or until fragrant.
Watch carefully so that they do not burn.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler until totally smooth.
Stir in the almond meal and toasted almonds.
Drop by small spoonfuls onto waxed paper or a silicone mat.
Let harden completely.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.

Ingredients
½ cup sliced almonds
1 cup non dairy chocolate
¼ cup almond meal
